...tercer i últim, fa anys que tinc aquests mini quilts per acabar. Els vaig fer en un curs monogràfic d'una tècnica japonesa de la que no recordo el nom... això sí, era una tècnica molt divertida!!!
...third and last, I have this mini quilts I did a few years ago. I did them in a Japanese monographic class but I cannot remember the name... anyway it was fun!!!

...somnis i reptes per al 2012 ...dreams and challenges for 2012

Aquests són alguns dels meus somnis/propòsits i somnis/projectes per al 2012!!!! Només alguns de caire pràctic perquè tot allò de ser millor persona, mare, esposa, treballadora, etc. ja ho intento cada dia!!!
Here are some of my dreams/goals and dreams/plans for 2012!! Only some practical ones because to be a better person, mother, wife, worker, etc.. I try it every day!

• Passar més temps amb els meus fills... Spend more time with my childen...
• Fer una superfesta de 40 anys!!! (és evident quants anys tinc... :-)))) Celebrate a big party for my 40th birthday!!! (clear how old I am...  :-))))
• Aprendre a cuinar millor i, sobretot, a fer menjar més variat... Improve my cooking skills and, above all, do different things...
• Fer més exercici!!! A banda de posar i treure rentadores, poc més faig... Doing more exercise!!! Besides laundry, I don't do much...
• Acabar algun dels infinits projectes de patch que tinc a l'armari... Finish some unfinished quilts I have in the closet...
• Aprendre l'encoixinat lliure (no crec que ho aconsegueixi...) Lear free quilting (I am sure I will not make it...)

I per passar aquesta tarda de sofà i manta us recomano dos llibres de Katherine Pancol. Un és continuació de l'altre i, per tant és millor començar per als cocodrils. A mi el primer em va agradar moltíssim, el segon menys però com era la continuació de la història tenia curiositat. Ja ha escrit el tercer de la saga però no l'he llegit.
And, to go through this afternoon of sofa and blanket here I recommend you two books of Katherine Pancol. You must read one after the other starting from the crocodriles. I really loved the first one. I know she has writen the third but I haven't read it yet.

...queden poques hores perquè s'acabi el 2011 i ha arribat el moment de fer balanç d'allò creat al llarg d'aquest any.

...més somnis amb cremalleres ...more dreams with zippers

...uf! No sé que m'ha donat amb les cremalleres. Serà que em motiven els reptes! I les cremalleres ho són per algú que està començant...  He fet un altre intent amb aquest tutorial. 

...I really love challenges!!! And zippers are a big challenge for a beginner. I have tried with another zipper one using this tutorial.

...no tinc molt clar perquè m'ha quedat tan quadrat. Suposadament havia de ser rectangular :-))
...I am not sure why it is so square, it was supposed to be more like a rectangular :-))

...en fi, estic força contenta del resultat final (tot i que no us puc ensenyar l'altre costat... ja, ja...)
...oh well, I am quite happy with the result (even I cannot show you the other side...)

...somnis de cremalleres II ...zipper dreams II

 ...ara sí! Li faltaven dos repunts: 1) al costat de les cremalleres i 2) al perímetre.

 ...now it's done! Two stiches where missing: 1) each side of the zipper and 2) all around it.
