Aquest estiu, l'Ana de Arch & Crafts.bcn (un altre dels meus imprescindibles, sinó el que més) va publicar el tutorial d'una bossa ideal per l'estiu. El vaig afegir a la llista de "to do". Ja tenia la tela i tot però, no va ser fins ben entrada la tardor, que m'hi vaig posar...

This summer, Ana from Arch & Crafts. Bcn (another of my essentials, probably the most) publish a tutorial of a great summer bag. I added to my "to do" list. I already had the fabric but, I wasn't until mid October that I start doing it.

Les tires les ha posat el sabater del costat de casa.

És una bossa molt agraida de fer, de veritat que us el recomano. Com que aquesta ja l'he guardat fins l'estiu vinent, em sembla que en faré un altre de tardor...

 

It is so nice to do it, I really recommend you. As I have already kept this one until next summer, I am pretty sure I will do another one, an Autumn one...

No n'havia fet mai cap de ragged quilt i m'ha encantat. Sobretot m'ha agradat treballar amb aquestes teles tan suaus. Les vaig comprar aquest any a Sitges amb la idea de de fer precisament això un ragged quilt.
This is my first ragged quilt and I love it. Specially I loved to work with this fantastic fabric which I bought it in Sitges this year because I did have in mind to try one.

Les teles són comprades a Oyambre i com que inicialment em va quedar massa petit, vaig anar a la botiga de Barcelona a comprar-ne més fa uns dies i encara les tenen, per sort! No us les deixeu escapar!!!
I bought the fabrics at Oyamnbre and as I wanted to be bigger, I went to the Barcelona shop a few days ago and they still have the flannels, lucky me! Do not miss them, they are lovely!!!

...la Cristina em va introduir en el món del Washi Tape a l'estiu però encara no m'hi havia posat. Com que tinc la màquina de cosir a revisió i... alguna cosa haig de fer... avui era el dia ideal per posar-m'hi! Et voilà!!!
...Cristina introduced me into the Washi Tape World this summer but I have not tried yet. As my sewing machine is being fixed up and... I must do something... today was the perfect day to try it. Et voilà!!!

...la setmana vinent tinc convidats especials a sopar i aquestes banderetes em faran quedar molt bé si el menjar no és tan bo... ja, ja, ja...
...next week I have some special friends invited for dinner these small flags will be fine if dinner is not so good...ja,ja,ja

 

 

Encara no tinc clar el menú però del que estic segura és que serà alguna cosa per es pugui punxar. Alguna idea.

...algunes coses petites que he fet últimament.
...some small things that I did lately.

...amb uns retalls del plaid de les casetes de platja vaig fer uns clauers per les meves companyes de feina. Els hi ha encantat!!!
...out of some fabrics from the beach houses I did some keyrings for my colleagues at work. They are very pleased with my presents!!

... i un altre estoig de colors per la Nora i l'Adriana, els hi vaig prometre aquest estiu i ho tenia pendent. Els hi encanta dibuixar i pintar!
... and another pencil case for Nora and Adriana, I promised them this summer. They love to draw and paint!

...i, com que no tenia paper, vaig decorar una bossa de cartró. 

...and, as I did not have wraping paper I decorate a paper bag. 

 

I per últim.... Diumenge vam anar a la Fira del Bolet de Seva i visitar la parada de la Cristina. Vaig pensar... "i si li porto alguna cosa a la Cristina..." No tenia molt de temps així que li vaig portar un detallet....

And to end up... On Sunday we went to visit Fira del Bolet at Seva and to visit Cristina. I thought... "I could do something for her...." I did not have much time so that's why I did something fast...

...la Cristina tenia la millor parada de la fira, ho podeu veure aquí. Vam comprar unes galetes en forma de bolet per als meus fills i nebot i van volar!!! Literal!!!! Els hi volia fer unes fotos i res!!! Impossible.

...Cristina had one of the best booths of the show, you can see it here. We bought some mushroom cookies for my kids and nephew and, literally, they ate them in seconds!!! I wanted to take some pictures and I couldn't!!!!

...i de París vaig saltar a Turquia! No sé si us passa a vosaltres però a mi les manualitats em perden. Tot el que sigui fet a mà, artesà, etc... simplement no m'hi puc resistir. De Istambul em vaig portar aquestes dues filigranes.

...and, from Paris I jumped in Turkey! I do not know if this happens to you, but I am weak when I see handmande and crafts. I simply can not resist. In Istanbul I took these two nice handmade crafts.

 

 

 

 

..oi que són boniques!!! Una pulsera i un collaret o per decorar, encara no ho sé. No tinc ni idea de com estàn fetes, potser ganxet, ho vaig intentar esbrinar però no m'en vaig sortir. Coses de l'idioma. Però són tan fines.  

...aren't they beautiful!!! A bracelet and a necklace or to hang on the wall, I am not sure yet. I have no idea if it's corchet or what??? I tried to find it out but no way, languages have this handicaps!! They are so cute!!!



 

Per cert, estic liada amb un bolso, quan el tingui acabat us l'ensenyo!

...fa poc us deia que vaig estar a París. Vaig anar per feina però vaig aprofitar una estona per passejar per aquesta increïble ciutat. Hi he estat vàries vegades i no me'n canso mai. És tan bonica, encantadora, agradable... Bé, doncs, em vaig donar una volta per algunes de les millors merceries de la ciutat. Us porto un petit reportatge de la meva fugaç visita.

...a few days ago I told you that in September I've been in Paris. I was there for a work trip but I had some time to walk around this beautiful city. I've been there several times but it never tires me. It's so beautiful, nice and lovely.... Oh, well, this time I had some time to visit the best fabric and needle shops. Here you can find a small sample of my quick visit.
